LexNet is the telecommunications division of Lexington Electric System. LexNet will provide high-speed fiber broadband to commercial and residential customers of LES.
Construction is underway on the project. We plan to complete the project by the end of 2025, but remember that weather and other factors can slow fiber construction. If you are interested in service, please enter your address and complete the form, here. As each area becomes available, we will contact the customers in that area who filled out the form. The entire project does not have to be complete to offer broadband to you.
No, LexNet will not require a contract. We want to make your service as hassle free as possible.
No. You are being charged for your service speed only. We don’t cap data and we don’t throttle.
None. LexNet will provide a wireless ready modem for you. This is enough for most homes and comes with your internet package. However, some homes, especially larger ones may need to opt for our whole home WIFI addition where our tech can add equipment to make sure you can connect wirelessly throughout your home. Whole Home internet adds an additional $15.99 a month to your package.

NO. Part of the reason we have decided to move forward with broadband is that our studies have shown that we can reasonably expect the project to at least pay for itself. There should be no impact to LES ratepayers as a result of broadband.
Residential packages will run from $59.99 for 300 Mbps up and down, $69.99 for 600 Mbps up and down, and $99.99 for 1.2 Gbps up and down.
Business Packages will cost more. We will have more info for buisness prices in the near future.
As fast as anyone could need. Even the basic package of 300 Mbps can handle muiltiple devices all streaming at the same time.
Yes. With LexNet, whether you need one line or multiple, we can customize solutions to meet your needs. You can add a phone to your internet service for only $25.00. Phone-only service, without an internet connection, is $54.64.

When you internet is installed, you will be emailed your first invoice. You can pay your bill from the email or you can go directly to our customer portal and pay there. You can also setup AutoPay and not have to worry about late payments and disconnects. You can find our customer portal here

No, you can use your own router. However LexNet can only support speed and connection issue up to the modem (ONT) we supply. We can not troubleshoot any issues you are having with your wi-fi router.
